We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Consultant Neurologist who is fluent in Arabic to join our dynamic and respected Hospital in Dubai. As a Consultant Neurologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including physical exams and diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat various neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and multiple sclerosis
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their medical history and test results
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle changes to manage and improve symptoms
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists to develop holistic treatment plans
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and research in the field of neurology
- Educate patients and their families on their condition, treatment options, and disease management
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and participate in medical conferences and trainings
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Completion of a residency program in neurology
- Board certification in neurology
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Neurologist
- Fluent in Arabic
- Strong diagnostic and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Must be western-trained
