Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized medical care for critically ill and premature infants in the neonatal intensive care unit.
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic tests, evaluate clinical data, and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor neonatal patients continuously, identifying and responding promptly to any changes in condition.
• Work collaboratively with pediatricians, nurses, and allied healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Educate and counsel parents on newborn health, feeding, and ongoing care requirements.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential medical records for all patients.
• Participate in neonatal quality improvement and safety programs.
• Mentor and train junior medical staff to enhance clinical standards and performance.
• Stay current with the latest neonatal medicine innovations and apply evidence-based practices.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree with board certification in Neonatal Intensive Care or equivalent specialization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant NICU in a reputable healthcare institution.
• Western-trained background or equivalent international experience required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for families.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an asset.
• Demonstrated leadership in a multidisciplinary and multicultural healthcare environment.
• Strong analytical, clinical decision-making, and crisis management capabilities.
