Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is hiring a Consultant Intensivist on behalf of a major healthcare institution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be based in Dubai for coordination and onboarding, with placement in Riyadh upon selection. The role involves managing critically ill patients, leading multidisciplinary ICU teams, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in ICU settings with complex conditions such as multi-organ failure, sepsis, and ARDS.
• Perform advanced life-support procedures including mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, and invasive interventions.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary ICU teams including anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care nurses.
• Supervise and mentor junior doctors, residents, and fellows within the ICU.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, patient safety standards, and ethical medical practices.
• Participate in medical education programs, ICU audits, and ongoing clinical research.

Ideal Profile

• UK CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) or equivalent international qualification in Intensive Care Medicine.
• Board certification in Critical Care Medicine (FCCM, EDIC, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years post-CCT experience in adult intensive care units.
• Proven ability to lead ICU teams and handle complex critical care cases.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with an evidence-based clinical approach.
