Consultant Infectious Disease - Hospital Job Vacancy in Abu Dhabi
We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant in the field of Infectious Disease to join our team at a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
As a Consultant in Infectious Disease, you will be responsible for providing expert medical care and treatment to patients with infectious diseases. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to provide optimal patient care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating patients with a wide range of infectious diseases
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Prescribing medications and developing treatment plans tailored to each patient\'s unique needs
- Performing procedures such as biopsies and drainage of abscesses
- Collaborating with other specialists, such as pulmonologists and gastroenterologists, to provide comprehensive care for patients with complex infections
- Educating patients and their families on disease prevention and management strategies
- Participating in research and quality improvement projects related to infectious diseases
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Medical degree and board certification in Infectious Disease
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a consultant in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a multicultural and diverse team environment
- Must be Western-trained
- Willingness to relocate to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
