The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care with proven expertise in adult ICU, as well as a passion for providing exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients in the adult ICU unit
- Take a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met
- Evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans
- Collaborate with other medical professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, lab results, and other diagnostic tests
- Educate patients and their families about their condition and treatment options
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Train and mentor junior medical staff
- Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in critical care medicine
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Consultant in Adult ICU
- MBBS/MD or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Knowledge of Saudi Arabian healthcare laws and regulations is preferred
- Candidates must have a UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification
