Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Hematologist with a specialty in Bone Marrow Transplantation (BMT) and CAR T Cell Therapy. The role is crucial to our multidisciplinary team, with responsibilities encompassing inpatient and outpatient care, clinical consultations, teaching, and research.

Responsibilities:

Provide swift, effective, and compassionate care to all hematology patients, including those requiring bone marrow transplants and/or CAR T Cell Therapy. Liaise with our multidisciplinary team to develop patient care plans and ensure the best possible outcomes. Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including bone marrow biopsies, stem cell mobilization, collection, transplantation, immunotherapies, and chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapies. Participate in and contribute to regular team meetings, case conferences, and clinical audits. Maintain familiarity with clinical and industry developments through regular continuing professional development activities. Contribute to departmental research, developments, and publications in BMT and CAR T Cell Therapy.

Qualifications:

Must hold a medical degree from a recognized institution and have valid licensure to practice medicine. A postgraduate qualification in Hematology and significant experience in the field, particularly with BMT and CAR T Cell Therapy, is essential. An effective communicator, with strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, vital for managing complex relationships with patients and family members. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge and best practice in Hematology, BMT, and CAR T Cell Therapy, as demonstrated by participation in ongoing medical education.
