Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly skilled and culturally attuned Consultant Hematologist for a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate will specialize in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of benign and malignant hematologic disorders, with a focus on evidence-based care, multidisciplinary teamwork, and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage hematologic conditions including anemia, leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma, and clotting disorders.
• Oversee bone marrow biopsy procedures, transfusion protocols, and chemotherapy treatments.
• Collaborate with oncology, pathology, and radiology departments for integrated patient care.
• Provide expert consultation for both inpatient and outpatient hematology cases.
• Participate in tumor boards, research projects, and quality improvement programs.
• Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment options, and long-term management.
• Mentor junior physicians and contribute to medical education and CME initiatives.
• Ensure all clinical practices adhere to DOH regulations and hospital quality standards.

Ideal Profile

• Board-certified in Hematology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent).
• DOH (HAAD) license or eligibility to practice in Abu Dhabi.
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a tertiary or academic medical center.
• Strong knowledge of benign and malignant hematologic conditions.
• Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills.
• Culturally sensitive with an adaptable, team-oriented approach.
