Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced glaucoma procedures including trabeculectomy, tube shunt implantation, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and laser interventions
• Diagnose and manage primary open-angle, angle-closure, and secondary glaucomas using evidence-based clinical protocols
• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient glaucoma care with structured long-term follow-up plans
• Utilize advanced imaging technologies such as OCT and visual field analysis for disease monitoring
• Collaborate with retina, cornea, and general ophthalmology specialists to deliver integrated patient-centered treatment
• Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and departmental continuing education initiatives
• Contribute to teaching, mentorship, and supervision of junior ophthalmologists and residents
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with DHA regulatory standards

Ideal Profile

• Medical Degree with completed specialization in Ophthalmology
• UK CCT, American Board Certification, or equivalent recognized qualification
• Fellowship training in Glaucoma preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in glaucoma surgery
• DHA eligibility or licensure in Dubai
• Proven surgical expertise with strong patient satisfaction outcomes
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
