Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced general surgery procedures including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue surgeries
• Diagnose and manage vascular conditions such as aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, thrombosis, and varicose veins
• Conduct open and endovascular surgeries including bypass grafting, embolectomy, and angioplasty
• Provide thorough pre-operative evaluations, operative management, and post-operative follow-ups
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, intensivists, and other multidisciplinary teams for integrated surgical care
• Participate in surgical audits, peer reviews, and clinical governance initiatives
• Train and mentor junior surgeons and contribute to CME and surgical training programs
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with DOH standards

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Completed residency in General Surgery
• Fellowship or subspecialty training in Vascular Surgery
• Board certified such as American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years post-specialization experience
• Eligible for DOH Consultant licensing or willing to obtain Abu Dhabi licensure
• Proven expertise in both open and minimally invasive vascular procedures
• Strong leadership, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making abilities
