Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly skilled Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Vascular Surgery to join a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing complex general and vascular surgical cases with a focus on delivering exceptional clinical outcomes and advancing surgical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced general surgical procedures including abdominal, gastrointestinal, and soft tissue surgeries
• Diagnose and treat vascular conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, varicose veins, and thrombosis
• Conduct open and endovascular surgeries including bypass grafting, embolectomy, and angioplasty
• Manage preoperative, operative, and postoperative care for vascular patients
• Collaborate with radiology, cardiology, and intensive care departments to ensure integrated patient management
• Participate in clinical governance, surgical audits, and peer review programs
• Educate and mentor junior surgeons, residents, and fellows through structured training and CME programs
• Maintain complete and accurate medical documentation in compliance with DOH standards

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution
• Completed residency in General Surgery
• Fellowship or advanced training in Vascular Surgery
• Board certification such as American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent
• Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience
• Eligibility or willingness to obtain Department of Health (DOH) licensure in Abu Dhabi
• Expertise in both open and minimally invasive vascular procedures
• Strong leadership, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making abilities
