Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients with thyroid disorders through exams, diagnostics, and detailed medical history reviews
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for thyroid disease management
• Perform thyroidectomies, lobectomies, and lymph node dissections for thyroid cancer
• Utilize advanced, minimally invasive, and endoscopic surgical techniques to support faster recovery and improved patient comfort
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, radiologists, and pathologists to deliver coordinated multidisciplinary thyroid care
• Stay updated with advancements in thyroid and endocrine surgery and incorporate best practices into daily work
• Mentor residents, medical students, and healthcare professionals in thyroid surgical procedures

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board-certified in General Surgery
• Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery or subspecialty training with strong focus on thyroid surgery
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in thyroid-focused general surgery
• Eligible for consultant licensing in Abu Dhabi
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams
