Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly qualified and board-certified Consultant General Surgeon specializing in Thyroid Surgery for a top-tier hospital in Abu Dhabi. The recruitment process will be managed through our Dubai operations. The successful candidate will perform complex thyroid and endocrine surgical procedures, collaborate within a multidisciplinary care framework, and uphold the highest standards of surgical precision and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with thyroid-related conditions through detailed clinical assessment, imaging, and diagnostic testing.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures including total thyroidectomy, lobectomy, and lymph node dissection for thyroid malignancies.
• Apply minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques to enhance patient outcomes and recovery.
• Collaborate with endocrinologists, oncologists, radiologists, and pathologists to deliver integrated and comprehensive treatment plans.
• Monitor postoperative progress and provide long-term follow-up care for thyroid cancer and benign thyroid disease patients.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and clinical governance protocols.
• Contribute to the education and training of residents and junior medical staff in thyroid and endocrine surgery.
• Stay informed about evolving surgical innovations, technologies, and evidence-based practices in endocrine surgery.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in General Surgery.
• Fellowship in Endocrine Surgery or equivalent subspecialty training focused on thyroid surgery.
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience in thyroid and endocrine surgery.
• DHA, DOH, or MOH Consultant License or eligibility to obtain one in Abu Dhabi.
• Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Proven expertise in minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid procedures.
