Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting consultations with patients and obtaining detailed medical histories
- Performing surgical procedures to treat various conditions, including injuries, diseases, and deformities
- Collaborating with other medical professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and providing accurate diagnoses
- Prescribing medication and recommending lifestyle changes to promote healing and prevent future issues
- Educating patients and their families on post-operative care and expectations
- Participating in ongoing research and staying up-to-date with advancements in surgical techniques and technologies
- Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records and collaborating with the administrative team to ensure proper billing and insurance claims
Requirements:
- Degree in Medicine, Surgery or a related field from an accredited institution
- Current and valid medical license in the state of practice
- Board certification in General Surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Surgeon
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
