Role Summary
Seeking a Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Burns to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on advanced surgical management of severe burns, including reconstructive and critical care interventions.
Key Responsibilities
Perform complex burn surgeries: skin grafting, microsurgery, debridement, scar revision
Lead multidisciplinary care teams for comprehensive treatment planning
Uphold surgical safety, infection control, and best practices
Contribute to clinical research, quality improvement, and education
Oversee long-term rehabilitation, including physiotherapy and psychological support
Requirements
MBBS + Board Certification in General/Burns Surgery
Fellowship in Burns & Reconstructive Surgery
6+ years post-certification experience in tertiary burns care
Expertise in wound healing, microsurgery, and critical burn care
Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
