Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad spectrum of general surgical procedures including elective and emergency cases
• Evaluate patients, diagnose surgical conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Lead preoperative and postoperative management in cooperation with nursing and allied health teams
• Participate in surgical audits, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior surgeons and contribute to CME programs and professional education
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical records aligned with DOH standards

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with completed specialty training in General Surgery
• Recognized board certification such as UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years post-specialty experience including consultant-level responsibilities
• Fluency in Arabic and English required
• Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure
• Proven ability to work in culturally diverse, multidisciplinary clinical settings
• Experience with women's health surgical needs is an advantage
