Consultant General Surgeon - Allocation Assist Middle East - Dubai, UAE
Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting a highly experienced Consultant General Surgeon to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves performing a wide range of elective and emergency surgical procedures while ensuring superior patient care and adherence to international clinical standards. Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full spectrum of general surgical procedures, both elective and emergency
• Evaluate and diagnose patients, creating tailored surgical treatment plans
• Manage preoperative and postoperative care in collaboration with nursing and allied health staff
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and surgical audits
• Supervise junior medical staff and participate in continuing medical education programs
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records in compliance with DOH regulations
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to ensure high standards of care and patient satisfaction

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree with recognized specialization in General Surgery
• Board certification such as UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialty experience at consultant level
• Fluency in Arabic and English for effective patient communication
• Eligible for Department of Health (DOH) Consultant license in Abu Dhabi
• Proven ability to manage complex surgical cases and emergencies
• Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities
