Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is recruiting a highly qualified Consultant General Surgeon with subspecialty expertise in Vascular Surgery for a leading healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The role, managed through our Dubai operations, involves performing complex general and vascular procedures while ensuring world-class patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced general surgical procedures including gastrointestinal, abdominal, and soft tissue operations.
• Diagnose and treat vascular diseases such as aneurysms, peripheral arterial disease, thrombosis, and varicose veins.
• Conduct open and minimally invasive endovascular surgeries including bypass grafting, angioplasty, and embolectomy.
• Lead preoperative assessment, intraoperative care, and postoperative follow-up for complex surgical cases.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including cardiologists, radiologists, and critical care specialists.
• Participate in surgical audits, clinical governance, and continuous medical education initiatives.
• Supervise and train junior surgeons, residents, and allied staff in surgical best practices.
• Maintain detailed medical records and ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations and quality standards.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Residency completion in General Surgery with Fellowship or subspecialty training in Vascular Surgery.
• Board certification (American Board, FRCS, Arab Board, or equivalent).
• Minimum 8-10 years of post-specialization experience in both general and vascular surgery.
• Eligibility or willingness to obtain DOH Consultant licensure in Abu Dhabi.
• Expertise in open and minimally invasive vascular techniques, including endovascular interventions.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and leadership capabilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is an advantage.
