Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient consultations including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluation
• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal disorders such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and liver conditions
• Perform and interpret endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy
• Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating medication management, dietary guidance, and lifestyle recommendations
• Collaborate with surgeons, nutritionists, nursing staff, and other specialists to provide coordinated patient care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapeutic strategies accordingly
• Stay updated with clinical advancements in gastroenterology and evidence-based treatment protocols
• Participate in medical conferences, research activities, and continuing professional education

Ideal Profile

• Medical Degree from a recognized institution
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology
• Minimum 5 years of experience at consultant level in gastroenterology practice
• Western education or specialist training such as UK CCT, American Board, or equivalent
• Strong expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment
