As a reputed multi-speciality hospital, we are looking for a specialized Gastroenterologist to diagnose and treat diseases of the digestive system. Ability to examine patients to determine what\'s causing the patient\'s symptoms. Specialized to use a variety of tools, including endoscopes and biopsies, to diagnose the cause of the problem.

Gastroenterologist Duties and Responsibilities

\xe2\x97\x8f Consulting with patients to diagnose the cause of abdominal pain, diarrhoea, constipation, weight loss, and other symptoms

\xe2\x97\x8f Performing a variety of diagnostic tests, including endoscopies, colonoscopies, and upper endoscopy procedures

\xe2\x97\x8f Requesting lab tests and scans where required for diagnosis

\xe2\x97\x8f Analyzing the results of diagnostic tests to determine a diagnosis and plan treatment options

\xe2\x97\x8f Prescribing medications

\xe2\x97\x8f Recommending lifestyle changes to manage gastrointestinal problems

\xe2\x97\x8f Keeping medical records and liaising with a team of doctors where necessary for patient care

Requirements:

Gastroenterologist Requirements / Skills / Qualifications

\xe2\x97\x8f Degree in Medicine

\xe2\x97\x8f Certification to practice Gastroenterology

\xe2\x97\x8f Residency/Fellowship within Gastroenterology positions

\xe2\x97\x8f Proficient in computer hardware/software and diagnostic machinery

\xe2\x97\x8f Strong communicative and interpersonal skills

\xe2\x97\x8f Developed bedside manner

\xe2\x97\x8f Experience diagnosing and treating patients

\xe2\x97\x8f 3 plusyear\'s experience as Gastroenterologist

\xe2\x97\x8f Able to travel for work seminars and training

\xe2\x97\x8f Able to work a flexible schedule
