Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologist for a leading healthcare facility in Qassim, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal disorders, perform advanced endoscopic procedures, and take an active role in training, clinical governance, and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal diseases including IBD, liver disorders, GERD, and functional bowel conditions.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP.
• Deliver expert inpatient and outpatient consultations with focus on quality and patient safety.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and medical boards.
• Supervise and mentor residents and junior physicians, contributing to departmental training initiatives.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with SCFHS and hospital regulations.
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency care for gastrointestinal cases.
• Support quality improvement, research, and continuing medical education activities.

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American/Canadian Board, or European equivalent).
• Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-specialization experience in gastroenterology.
• Skilled in advanced endoscopic techniques and interventional GI procedures.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
