Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a variety of digestive system disorders, including Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, celiac disease, and peptic ulcer disease.
• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations, review patient histories, and order diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.
• Perform therapeutic interventions including polypectomies, biopsies, and other endoscopic treatments.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, integrating medical therapy, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications.
• Collaborate with dietitians, surgeons, and other medical professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient management.
• Maintain accurate, detailed patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements, research, and innovations in gastroenterology and hepatology.
• Participate in academic, research, and continuing education programs to enhance clinical expertise.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree from an accredited university.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology (Western education or equivalent required).
• Minimum 5 years of post-certification experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
• Proficiency in performing diagnostic and interventional endoscopic procedures.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and patient management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective patient engagement.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to ethical medical practices.
