Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage gastrointestinal conditions including IBD, GERD, liver disease, and functional bowel disorders.
• Perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, gastroscopy, and ERCP.
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultations, follow-up care, and emergency GI support.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and patient management meetings.
• Supervise junior medical staff, residents, and fellows, contributing to clinical training.
• Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with SCFHS regulations.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement programs and continuous medical education (CME) activities.
• Contribute to academic and research initiatives within the department.

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology (Saudi Board, Arab Board, American/Canadian Board, or European equivalent).
• Valid Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Minimum of 3-5 years post-specialization experience in Gastroenterology.
• Proficiency in advanced endoscopic and GI diagnostic techniques.
• Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
