experienced Financial Planning and Reporting Consultant
for a6-month temporary contract
to support our Finance team in financial reporting, planning, and data analysis. The role is critical in ensuring compliance withIFRS, UAE regulatory standards, and EIA's financial governance framework
while drivingautomation and process improvements
in financial reporting systems.Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and ensure IFRS compliance.Budgeting & Forecasting:
Support budgeting processes and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.Data Analysis & Decision Support:
Provide insights throughfinancial modelling, trend analysis, and KPI tracking
to support strategic decisions.Month-End & Year-End Close:
Assist in reconciliations, audit documentation, and reporting.ERP & Automation:
Contribute to the implementation offinancial reporting tools and ERP systems
for process improvement.Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely withinvestment, risk, treasury, and external auditors
to ensure seamless financial operations.Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
Finance, Accounting, Economics
, or a related field.ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, or CFA certification
is preferred.Experience
5+ years
infinancial planning, corporate finance, or financial reporting
, ideally withinsovereign wealth funds, investment firms, or multinational corporations
. Strongknowledge of IFRS, financial modelling, and performance reporting
. Hands-on experience withERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
.Technical Skills
Proficiency in
financial analytics, Excel (advanced functions), and reporting automation tools
.Experience in risk management, compliance, and internal/external audit processes.
