Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Consultant in Fetal Medicine to join a prestigious hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will provide expert diagnosis, management, and care for complex fetal conditions and high-risk pregnancies, working closely with obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to ensure the best outcomes for both mother and baby.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive fetal medicine services to expectant mothers with complex medical conditions and high-risk pregnancies Conduct in-depth fetal assessments, including ultrasound scans and genetic testing, to identify any potential abnormalities or health concerns Work closely with other medical specialists, including maternal-fetal medicine specialists, obstetricians, and neonatologists, to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients Perform prenatal interventions, such as fetal blood sampling, fetal shunts, and intrauterine transfusions, when necessary Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and communicate findings and treatment plans effectively with patients and their families Keep up-to-date with developments and advancements in the field of fetal medicine and contribute to research and publications in the field

Qualifications and Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited university Specialist degree in Fetal Medicine Minimum of 5 years of experience in fetal medicine, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized medical board Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team Passion for providing high-quality patient care Fluent in English, both written and verbal
