Position: Consultant Emergency Medicine - Saudi Arabia

Job Summary:
The Consultant Emergency Medicine will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate care to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical treatment to patients in a timely and efficient manner
- Diagnose and treat patients with various medical emergencies, including but not limited to, trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and acute poisoning
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients
- Oversee the management and training of junior medical staff and residents
- Participate in medical research and contribute to the development of best practices in emergency medicine
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in emergency medicine
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification/ fellowship in Emergency Medicine from recognized international board (e.g. American Board/CAN, Australian, UK, CCST, CCT)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Emergency Medicine in a reputable hospital
- Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus
- Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligible to obtain one)
- Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
