Job Description
We are searching for a skilled Consultant Dermatology for a multispecialty hospital chain in the Middle East. To assess patients\xe2\x80\x99 skin and medical history to devise and implement effective treatment plans. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough consultations, examinations, and assessments of patients\' skin conditions, considering their medical history.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as skin biopsies, blood panels, and allergy tests, to aid in the diagnosis.
- Develop personalized treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, recommending topical creams or ointments, performing surgical procedures, or suggesting lifestyle modifications.
- Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their skin condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists, such as allergists, plastic surgeons, and oncologists, to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct follow-up appointments to monitor the progress of treatment plans, adjust prescriptions if necessary, and address any concerns or questions.
- Actively participate in clinical research studies, contribute to academic publications, and present findings at conferences.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, fostering a positive learning and professional environment.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.
- Specialty qualification in Dermatology. (CCT, CCST, American Board).
- 3+ Years\' Experience post specialty.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
