Position Overview
Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking a board-certified Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in Electrophysiology to join a premier healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will lead advanced cardiac rhythm management services, oversee complex arrhythmia treatments, and help develop a world-class electrophysiology program that sets new standards in cardiac care.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage complex cardiac rhythm disorders including arrhythmias, syncope, and conduction abnormalities
• Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures such as electrophysiology studies (EPS), catheter ablations (AFib, VT, SVT), and device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs)
• Lead the development of EP laboratory programs, equipment upgrades, and quality improvement initiatives
• Provide cardiology consultations to inpatient and outpatient units, ensuring evidence-based care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and imaging specialists
• Mentor and train junior physicians while participating in CME, clinical research, and academic activities
• Maintain full compliance with DOH regulations and institutional quality standards

Ideal Profile

• Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology
• Subspecialty fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology
• Board certification in both Cardiology and Electrophysiology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience post-specialization
• Eligibility for Department of Health (DOH) Consultant licensure in Abu Dhabi
• Hands-on experience with advanced mapping systems such as CARTO or EnSite
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a patient-centered approach
