Role Overview

We are seeking a board-certified Consultant Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in Electrophysiology to lead advanced cardiac rhythm management services at a premier healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence in diagnosing and treating complex arrhythmias, and will contribute to the development of a high-performing electrophysiology program.



Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage arrhythmias, syncope, and conduction system disorders Perform advanced electrophysiology procedures including: Electrophysiology studies (EPS) Catheter ablations (AFib, VT, SVT) Device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRTs) Lead EP lab development, technology upgrades, and quality assurance initiatives Provide consultative services to inpatient and outpatient units Mentor junior physicians and contribute to CME, research, and academic activities

Qualifications & Experience

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology Subspecialty fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology Board-certified in Cardiology and Electrophysiology (e.g., American Board, UK CCT, or equivalent) Minimum 5 years post-specialization, including consultant-level practice in electrophysiology Eligible for DOH Consultant licensure (Department of Health - Abu Dhabi) Experience with advanced mapping systems (e.g., CARTO, EnSite) preferred Strong leadership, communication, and team collaboration skills
