Key Responsibilities:
- Perform complex cardiac surgeries, including coronary bypass procedures, valve repair/replacement, and heart transplants
- Evaluate patients' medical history and determine the best course of treatment
- Work closely with cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Review and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, CT scans, and MRI scans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, risks, and recovery process
- Stay updated on advancements and new techniques in cardiac surgery through continuing education and professional development
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures during surgeries
-Must be western-trained
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Board certification in cardiac surgery
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cardiac surgery
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
