Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive surgical management for breast malignancies and endocrine disorders including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal conditions
• Perform advanced procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, thyroidectomy, parathyroidectomy, and minimally invasive endocrine surgeries
• Provide inpatient and outpatient consultative services with a patient-centered approach
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor boards and complex case discussions
• Supervise and mentor fellows, residents, and junior physicians within the department
• Contribute to clinical research, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with SCFHS standards and international surgical safety protocols
• Engage in departmental administrative responsibilities and committee participation

Ideal Profile

• Medical Degree from a recognized institution
• Completion of accredited residency and fellowship in Breast and Endocrine Surgery
• Board Certification such as Saudi Board, Arab Board, American, Canadian, or European equivalent
• Valid Consultant classification with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties
• Minimum 3-5 years of post-board or fellowship experience in breast and endocrine surgery
• Demonstrated expertise in oncologic and endocrine surgical techniques
• Strong leadership, academic, and communication capabilities
• Fluency in English with Arabic considered advantageous
