Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage benign hematological disorders including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, bleeding disorders, and hemoglobinopathies
• Interpret bone marrow biopsies, peripheral blood smears, and complex hematology laboratory investigations
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient hematology consultations with evidence-based treatment planning
• Collaborate with internal medicine, oncology, and transfusion medicine teams for integrated patient care
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to complex case discussions
• Lead and support clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and protocol development
• Mentor junior physicians and allied health professionals in hematology practice
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with DHA regulations and hospital governance standards

Ideal Profile

• MBBS or equivalent recognized medical degree
• Completed specialist training in Hematology such as CCT, FRCP, FRCPath, American Board, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience focused on benign hematology
• DHA eligibility or licensure preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic expertise in non-malignant hematological conditions
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
• Proficiency in English, with Arabic considered an advantage
