As a consultant anesthesiologist (Pain Management) you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia services to patients with chronic pain. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and consultations to determine an appropriate pain management plan for patients
- Administer anesthesia for surgical procedures, as well as monitor and manage patients vital signs during the procedure
- Manage the patients pain during the post-operative period, adjusting medication as needed
- Educate patients and their families on pre- and post-operative pain management techniques and medications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans for patients with chronic pain
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in continuous quality improvement programs
- Bachelors degree in Medicine, with specialization in Anesthesia and Pain Management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Anesthesiologist, with a focus on pain management
- Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia
- Fluent in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus)
- Strong technical skills in administering anesthesia, as well as knowledge of various pain management techniques and medications
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multicultural environment
