Job Summary
We are searching for a Construction Supervisor. This is a site-based position. The Construction Supervisor will be responsible for accomplishing construction project results by defining project purpose and scope, identifying and allocating required resources, establishing standards and protocols; scheduling and coordinating staff, and resolving problems. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing company standards and procedures.

The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing company standards and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manage, coordinate and schedule daily project activities, ensuring that workers adhere to the project plan and safety procedures.
- Create site plans and safe work procedures
- Report, investigate and document all safety incidents and injuries appropriately.
- Work with the project manager, engineers, and inspectors to execute project plan
- Meet construction budget by monitoring project expenditures, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions.
- Complete quality inspections.
- Maintain daily reports; updating and tracking project completion progress and schedules.
- Provide supervision, training, and coaching to staff
- 5+ years of experience in field supervision/project management
- University or college diploma in a relevant construction/engineering program
- Experience with site operations, specifically froth treatment plants an asset
- Sound knowledge of construction inspection practices and testing method
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Computer skills: working knowledge of scheduling and project management software, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
