Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field

The

Construction Structural Draftsman

will be responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings and shop drawings for high-rise building projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, project standards, and applicable codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare

structural drawings

,

shop drawings

, and

as-built drawings

using AutoCAD or Revit based on design and site requirements. Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure drawing accuracy and consistency. Review design drawings and identify discrepancies or clashes before issuing for construction. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and consultant requirements. Update drawings based on site changes, RFIs, and approved revisions. Maintain and organize drawing records, revisions, and documentation systematically. Prepare bar bending schedules (BBS) and reinforcement details as required. Attend coordination meetings with engineers and site teams for technical clarifications. Ensure timely submission of drawings to consultants and project management teams. Support the site team with necessary details for execution and resolve any drawing-related issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficient in

AutoCAD

Revit Structure

, and other drafting software. Strong understanding of

structural systems

reinforcement detailing

, and

construction sequencing

for high-rise buildings. Good knowledge of

UAE building codes

BS

, and

ACI standards

. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drawings. Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in

high-rise residential, commercial, or mixed-use towers
