Construction Senior Architect
Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Architect to lead the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects within our construction portfolio in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will ensure that all designs meet client requirements, project budgets, and regulatory standards while delivering creative and functional solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the development of architectural designs from concept to completion.
Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project managers to ensure design integration across all disciplines.
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design intent.
Manage design changes, value engineering proposals, and ensure timely updates to project documentation.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and sustainability standards.
Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews.
Mentor junior architects and support the development of the design team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, materials, and technologies.
Requirements:
10-15 years of experience as an Architect, including at least 3 years in a senior role, in the
construction industry
. Bachelor's degree in Architecture; Master's degree is an advantage. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and authority approval processes. Excellent design, visualization, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Employment Details:
