Job Description

Ensure construction operations comply with UAE federal, emirate, and local laws/regulations, such as labour safety laws, Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation (MoHRE), Dubai Municipality, etc.

Implement, enforce, and periodically review company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific safety plans.

Monitor site conditions daily for potential hazards (scaffolding, access, hazardous materials, working at height, lifting operations, electrical safety, etc.) and ensure remedial measures are applied.

Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.

Monitor safety performance, identify non-conformances, issue corrective actions and follow up.

Maintain accurate documentation: risk assessments, incident reports (accidents, near misses), training records, safety observations, toolbox talks, permits-to-work, etc.

Conduct safety inductions for new workers, toolbox talks, safety briefings, and ongoing awareness and training programs.

Investigate accidents/incidents/near misses to determine causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions.

Ensure correct use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE). Energy Jobline

Monitor condition of tools, machinery, scaffolding, hoists, etc. Ensure inspections and certifications are up to date

Work closely with site and project management, subcontractors, engineers to embed safety into planning and execution phases.

Liaise with regulatory authorities during inspections or audits.

Qualifications

1)Diploma or Bachelor's degree

2)NEBOSH IGC / IOSH / UAE?recognized safety certification; other certifications (First Aid, Fire Safety, OSHAD, etc.) are desirable.

Experience

:

3?5 years of UAE experience in Construction sector

Other Requirements

:

UAE driving license preferred

Flexibility to visit different site locations; sometimes irregular hours.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
