We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works across our construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP activities are executed according to project specifications, schedules, and quality standards while maintaining effective coordination between different disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and monitor all MEP works, ensuring compliance with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
Review and comment on MEP shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
Liaise between the main contractor, MEP subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure that all MEP works are integrated smoothly with civil and architectural works.
Monitor MEP progress and ensure timely completion in line with the overall project schedule.
Inspect ongoing works to ensure quality and adherence to safety regulations.
Identify and address any discrepancies or conflicts in MEP designs and installations.
Support procurement by reviewing technical specifications and ensuring timely delivery of MEP materials and equipment.
Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project management team.
Participate in project meetings and provide technical input where necessary.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an MEP Coordinator in the
construction industry
, preferably in the UAE.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Strong understanding of MEP systems, design coordination, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of BIM/Revit is an advantage.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong knowledge of UAE construction codes and standards.
