Job Summary

The Construction Manager - Roads & Infrastructure is responsible for managing roadworks and infrastructure construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, schedule, and budget.

Key Responsibilities

Manage construction of roads, highways, utilities, and related infrastructure works. Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with authorities, consultants, and utility agencies. Review and approve method statements, traffic management plans, and work programs. Monitor site progress, productivity, and quality of works. Ensure full compliance with HSE and traffic safety regulations. Identify construction risks and propose mitigation measures. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical and construction issues. Prepare progress reports and attend coordination and progress meetings. Support testing, commissioning, and handover of infrastructure works.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. 10-12 years of experience in roads and infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of road construction, utilities, drainage, and infrastructure standards. Experience dealing with local authorities and utility providers. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software. GCC experience is highly preferred.
