- Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting, in collaboration with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Estimating project costs, preparing budgets, and tracking expenses throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to financial targets.
- Procurement: Sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for construction activities while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and implementing strategies to mitigate them, such as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and obtaining necessary permits and approvals.
- Team Management: Supervising and coordinating the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Quality Control: Monitoring construction progress and ensuring that workmanship meets quality standards and specifications set by clients and regulatory bodies.
- Schedule Management: Tracking project milestones and deadlines, adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate changes or unexpected delays, and communicating updates to stakeholders.
- Client Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns or issues promptly, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process.
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, implementing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and other relevant records.
- Post-Construction Activities: Overseeing final inspections, addressing any punch-list items, and facilitating the handover of the completed project to the client.
