Manages the planning and scheduling of installation, Post installation check-out and all other field activities in coordination with Testing teams.
Is the key interface with the customer and their engineers
Provides technical expertise/support for all field activities (work done by others).
Manages all aspects of safety on site, and is the Site Safety Representative for the project in cooperation with the HSE Manager
Ensures that all employees (including the sub-contractors) comply with the Health and Safety requirements as detailed in the reference documents in the Project Management Plan, as well as all other applicable safety policies/work instructions.
Prepares regular status and the progress reports and meeting minutes for the Project Manager, Project Systems Engineer, Site Deployment Department and the Customer.
Interface with subcontractors Management team, monitor / drive progress of works from Subcontractors, set up regular progress meeting with subcontractors to align schedule of work / installation strategy and address issues.
Ensures all site installation drawings, documents, and SW releases are kept current to relevant revisions.
Ensures that as-built information is recorded as the work progresses and is submitted to Engineering for updating of documentation.
Contributes to the activities of technical specialists from the company who are on site to perform integration testing, trouble shooting and commissioning testing.
Responds to various customer correspondences, either directly or via the Deployment Manager.
Prepares problem/action reports and ensures these are processed correctly and communicated to the Deployment Manager and Project Systems Engineer.
Advises Deployment Manager of site staffing level requirements.

HSE RESPONSIBILITIES

To use safety equipment (including PPE) as required and intended.
Lead by example and actively encourage departments to look at ways to conserve water & energy, minimize the generation of waste, and encourage recycling.

KEY QUALIFICATION
7+ years relevant working experience
Working knowledge of the companys products with respect to installation, testing and operations of communications and security systems;
Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project site;
Experience in installation and testing of telecommunication control systems;
Experience in task planning, including estimation, performance tracking and reporting;
Post-secondary Technologist diploma of Engineering degree Electrical or Mechanical
PC literate and use of word processing, spread sheet and scheduling software packages;
