As a Construction Manager, you will be managing and overseeing all construction activities on site of a residential expansion project in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
Managing and overseeing the delivery of construction works on the project
Ensuring Mott MacDonald HSE standards are kept at the forefront of all activities and are applied at every stage of the project
Overseeing site works to ensure they are in adherence to the contract
Setting up proper communication line with the Consultant and Contractor to address issues that may arise; ensuring corrective and preventative measures are taken in a timely manner.
Advising the project teams on planned logistics and contractual matters.
Reviewing and accepting project delivery plans submitted by contractors; making recommendations/suggestions where needed.
Reviewing project progress and considering mitigation measures.
Attending meetings with the Contractor and Consultant to present project progress and highlighting issues with corrective measures
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
IT and standard industry software skills, including hands-on knowledge of BIM and other digital platforms
Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across teams and projects
Using interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships and also creating effective working environments
Able to manage multiple teams with diverse backgrounds on geographically and culturally diverse teams

Candidate Specification:
Bachelors\xe2\x80\x99 degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
Minimum 20 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar role, managing site construction activities as a consultant.
Demonstrable experience in managing contractors\xe2\x80\x99 activities on site.
Experience in residential communities would be highly advantageous.
