Stantec is looking to hire a Construction Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, construction activities and monitor project execution. Review project execution in logical sequence and budget to meet the project schedule. Review and explain plans and contract terms to project team members. Review design change request and additional construction work to contractual agreements with design team and client\xe2\x80\x99s representative. Participate in the review of the project procurement strategy. Participate in the elaboration of project site traffic and access strategy. Monitor and implement project quality control requirements. Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, emergencies at construction site. Coordinate with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems. Prepare preliminary hand-over report. Title: Construction Manager Qualifications: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Strong engineering and technical background. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent command of Microsoft Office business solution (Excel, Word). INDIVIDUAL BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Ability to make balanced decisions affecting project stakeholders. Ability to plan, supervise and achieve organizational project goals. Strong negotiation skills. Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Act as a Mentor to Stantec construction staff. Flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of assigned tasks and workload.
