. This role requires a proactive professional who can manage contract risks, prepare claims, and ensure compliance with all contractual and legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and manage various types of construction contracts and related documentation.
Conduct detailed
contract and legal risk reviews
to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
Lead or support
contract negotiations
with clients, consultants, and vendors.
Prepare and manage
claims documentation
in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Interpret and apply
GCC Civil Law
and advise project teams on contractual rights and obligations.
Assist in
RFPs, contract clarifications, and responses to PTC
(Pre-Tender Clarifications).
Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all contracts and variations are properly documented.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5 years
of experience in construction contract administration or related legal/commercial roles.
Strong understanding of
GCC civil law
and construction contract terminology.
Proven experience handling
FIDIC-based contracts
.
Knowledge of
construction consultancy agreements
, associated
liabilities
, and
insurance types
(Professional Indemnity, Third Party Liability, Workers Compensation).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Construction Management, or a related field.
Prior experience working with a
consultancy
or
contracting
firm in the GCC region.
