To represent AECOM internally and externally as the leading voice in the construction industry and go-to source for delivering accurate and up-to-date market advice on capital projects, maintaining our consistent, current, high value market intelligence outputs and developing the internal data-driven capability that underpins it all.

Outline of Duties

+ Collation and publishing of cost rate libraries.

+ Bespoke statistical analyses based on client and AECOM data.

+ Inflation and indexation studies.

+ Database development and data management activities.(including cost, carbon and asset data).

+ Monitor/track and report on issues that impact on construction market for both built environment and infrastructure sectors.

+ Drive digital collection of data - both internally and externally.

+ Maintain and grow network of external sources to gauge market opinion and information on pricing and issues.

+ Lead co-ordination and collaborate with colleagues in the production of the AECOM Middle East Handbook.

+ Produce quarterly market forecasts and indices - tender price inflation - for both built environment and infrastructure sectors.

+ Analysing of information and identifying trends or market changes - proactively reporting on same through Thought Leadership articles.

+ Review trends in procurement routes and strategy.

+ Co-ordinate with other end markets \\ geographies within AECOM.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

+ 5 years relevant experience

+ Construction analytics

+ Construction data analysis

+ Ability to analyse data and convert it into quarterly construction business intelligence reports

+ Thought leadership

+ Strong Power BI skills

+ Proficient in automating reports

+ Construction economics within a consultancy

Preferred Qualifications:
Degree qualified in Construction Economics \\ Economics
