Produce industry relevant conference programmes.Liaise with key professionals/institutions and companies in the production of conference programmes.To research and contact potential speakers and confirm their attendance.Effectively research topics with relevant industry professionals and the target market.Develop new conference ideas and programme content through tele-research and meetings.Provide up to date and useable speaker lists and files for event management to follow up.Prepare all necessary briefs, conference agenda, CME applications, telesales briefs.Assist in the provision of leads to the sponsorship team.Work with the head of production and other sales team members to produce ideas for conferences.Identify key opinion leaders/institutions and companies within that area.Maintain existing and build new relationships with key experts in particular fields.Look at hands on workshops and other ways to increase delegate revenue at our events with companies.Assist the marketing department in the relevant distribution of marketing materials (e.g. brochures) to companies and departments.Write invitation letters for the conferences.Liaise and research with speakers, delegates and exhibitors at the show.Prepared to work longer than normal office hours i.e. onsite at an event.QualificationsJob RequirementsSpeaks and writes clearly and fluently in English to both individuals and groups.Computer literate and proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.Commercial awareness.Research based role.Copywriting skills.Brand and market awarenessDesirableScientific background.Related industry/event knowledge.Conference production role.Additional InformationYou will have the opportunity to become part of the world's number one leading exhibition and congress organiser, working within the healthcare division this will enable you to work on some of the company's most successful and diverse range of events from Arab Health, to Medlab to Africa Health and FIME.Job Location
