Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging STEAM and computer science lessons for children and adults.
Design and facilitate hands-on, project-based learning experiences involving
coding, electronics, and physical computing
.
Integrate EdTech tools,
microcontrollers
, robotics kits, and emerging technologies into the curriculum.
Foster an inclusive, creative, and supportive learning environment.
Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate with educators and team members on interdisciplinary projects and programmes.
Stay informed about developments in STEAM education,
electronics
, and educational technology.
Plan and facilitate workshops, camps, and special STEAM-related events.
Communicate effectively with parents, caregivers, and the wider community.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Teaching qualification is an advantage.
Experience with the IB curriculum is preferred.
Minimum of 2 years' teaching experience, ideally in a STEAM, makerspace, or innovation-focused environment.
Proficiency in programming languages such as
Python and Scratch
.
Experience working with microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino, micro:bit, ESP32), basic electronics, sensors, and hardware components.
Strong understanding of STEAM principles, inquiry-based learning, and physical computing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for education and inspiring learners of all ages.
Preferred Skills
Experience with
3D printing, CAD software, and makerspace technologies

Knowledge of
physical computing
, circuits, and prototyping.
