We are a leading educational institute specializing in IB, IGCSE, and AS-A levels, offering comprehensive academic support to students from various schools across the UAE. Our team is actively seeking Computer Science / ICT faculty, proficient in all levels to join our Dubai branch immediately. Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Develop and update a curriculum that aligns with educational standards and covers various computer science topics, such as programming languages, algorithms, data structures, and computer hardware.
- Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective computer science lessons, using a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Classroom Management: Create a positive and productive classroom environment, manage student behavior, and maintain a respectful and inclusive atmosphere.
- Assessment and Grading: Design and administer assessments to evaluate student progress, provide timely feedback, and assign grades.
- Individualized Support: Offer additional help to students who are struggling and challenge advanced learners with advanced coursework or projects.
- Technology Integration: Integrate technology tools, software, and hardware into the teaching and learning process to enhance computer science education.
- Professional Development: Stay current with developments in computer science and education, and engage in ongoing professional development.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers and staff members to ensure a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to education.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Communicate with parents and the local community to provide updates on student progress and promote computer science education.
- Education: A bachelor\'s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is typically required. A master\'s degree is often preferred.
- Relevant British teaching qualification: to teach Secondary School Computer Science
- A minimum of 2 years recent teaching experience [Computer Science and ICT]
- Knowledge of the latest UK practice from either the UK or a British Curriculum overseas
- A good knowledge of the GCSE/IGCSE, AS - level, A-Level curriculum (Edexcel, CIE)
