Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Computer Operator. The Computer Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of computer systems, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with data processing tasks.
Responsibilities:
Monitor computer systems and networks for errors and issues.
Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system updates.
Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and coordinate with IT support.
Operate computer peripherals and equipment.
Run and monitor batch processing jobs.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity during processing.
Collaborate with IT teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
Maintain accurate records of computer operations and production.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a related role.
Familiarity with computer systems, hardware, and software.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling.
Requirements:
Associate degree or relevant certification in Computer Science or a related field.
Previous experience in data entry or computer operations.
Availability to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Proficiency in operating systems and software applications.
