Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a results-oriented and skilled CAD Engineer with a strong background in mechanical design, production, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have expertise in using industry-leading software like SolidWorks and AutoCAD to design and develop innovative solutions. This role requires a hands-on approach, from initial concept design and documentation to production oversight and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development:

Create and refine designs for mechanical parts and assemblies using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

Documentation:

Develop and manage technical documentation, including drawings and bills of quantities (BOQs), for the production department and external vendors.

Production Support:

Oversee the production process from start to finish, ensuring designs are manufactured accurately and efficiently.

Programming & Manufacturing:

Utilize specialized software for nesting and programming laser cutting files.

Collaboration:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production and quality assurance, to address challenges and ensure seamless product development.

Cost Estimation:

Prepare cost estimates for various components, including laser cuttings, bending, and steel fabrication.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Mechanical or CAD Engineer. Proficiency in

SolidWorks

,

AutoCAD

, and other relevant CAD software. Experience in a production environment with knowledge of manufacturing processes. Strong understanding of cost estimation and production planning. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
