Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Computational Chemist to join our research team. The role involves applying advanced computational methods to design and evaluate peptide-linker systems. You will work on modeling, simulations, and database-driven screening to support the development of a large and diverse peptide-linker library.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform QSAR modeling and virtual screening.
Conduct molecular docking and analyze ligand-receptor interactions.
Apply quantum mechanics (QM) and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to study stability and reactivity.
Design and evaluate different types of chemical linkers for peptide conjugation.
Draw, edit, and analyze complex chemical structures.
Apply machine learning methods in computational chemistry projects.
Search and analyze peptide and small-molecule structures from databases.
Study and interpret intermolecular interactions at the structural level.
Requirements:
Strong background in computational chemistry and structural biology.
Hands-on experience with docking, QM, and MD simulations.
Knowledge of peptide chemistry and linker design.
Familiarity with machine learning tools in chemistry.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a growing research team.

Project Goal:
Our objective is to build a large peptide-linker library. Leveraging click chemistry, the system should identify and suggest the most suitable linkers for connecting peptides. The library will include a wide range of linker types to ensure flexibility, optimization, and broad applicability.
